Disaster Assistance and Recovery Center Event Planned
Maui Emergency Management Agency will host two Disaster Assistance and Recovery Center events this weekend for Maui County residents affected by the recent storm events:
- The Upcountry event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani. Bottled water and boxes of non-perishable food will still be available at the Tavares Center for those in need.
- The Kīhei event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Kīhei Community Center.
