The 100-Year Flood

Chances are we are not prepared – or at least not as much as we could be – for the occurrence of a natural disaster.

Knowing the risk, acting quickly and having a plan in mind in case of a disaster can not only prevent a major damage or loss of a property, but many times saves lives as well.

Be prepared – have evacuation plan set with your family.

Act quickly – have important documents and emergency kit ready to ‘grab and go’.

Adhere to warnings – listen to government officials for warnings, evacuation routes and details where to seek shelter. Don’t wait til the last minute to evacuate. It could be already too late!
