Beginning July 1, 2020 bulky items will be collected by appointment only for all areas of O`ahu.

The appointment-based bulky item pickup system goes island-wide for Oʻahu starting July 1.

This targeted approach aims to reduce driving distances for garbage collection trucks, which decreases fuel consumption and emissions, ultimately saving us time and money while also being more environmentally friendly.

Please dispose of your trash responsibly. Illegal dumping has far reaching effects. One aspect not often considered is how garbage and waste in our streams can cause blockage and overflow, which could result in devastating flood damage to property. Hurricane season increases the risk of high rainfall events and stream overflow. Not only as part of hurricane preparedness, it is our on-going responsibility to properly dispose of our trash to preserve and protect our environment and community.
