This program recognizes continuing education and professional development that enhances the knowledge and performance of local, state, federal and private-sector floodplain management professionals.”

This certification program will lay the foundation for ensuring that highly qualified individuals are available to meet the challenge of breaking the damage cycle and stopping its negative drain on the nation’s human, financial and natural resources.”
This August as part of the 15th annual Hawai'i Floodplain Management Conference, the Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) exam will be offered on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Ala Moana Hotel (Ilima Room). Department of Land and Natural Resources Engineer, Jesse Colandra P.E., CFM will be proctoring the 3 hour long exam. Registered participant may begin checking-in at 8:00 am and the exam will begin promptly at 9:00 am.
