Maui County
Agricultural structures in the SFHA are not exempt from a flood development permit.
Kauaʻi County
Agricultural structures in the SFHA are not exempt from building permits.
Hawai'i County
Agricultural structures in the SFHA may be exempt from building permits, but would require a Declaration of Compliance permit (HRS Section 46-88 relating to agricultural structures) and would require compliance to the floodplain requirements.
