When were your county’s FIRM last updated? Are there any proposed FIRM updates in your county’s near future?
City and County
of Honolulu
Last update was in 2014. New preliminary flood maps were provided by FEMA on July 31st, 2024. The map appeal period will be scheduled for 2025, with an intended effective date in 2026.
Maui County
FIRM last updated in 2015. There are no proposed FIRM updates at this time.
Kauaʻi County
February 26, 2021 FIRM panels were updated in Moloa’a, Hanapepe, and Waimea.
Hawai'i County
Last update was in 2017. There are no proposed FIRM updates at this time.
